Artist in Residence, a new “membership” style tier on my Patreon just launched last week and I am working on getting everything going. And it’s going a little slower than I’d like. I’d hoped to have everything ironed out by now, but I often underestimate how long things take (especially good things, worthwhile things).

Agnes is nearing six months old and she’s now sleeping through the night and eating like a champ. Felix has started Karate and Evangeline is taking ballet.

I am currently working on this website, my new patreon tiers, and about a million other things.

Agnes is three months old, and Felix (8) and Evangeline (5) are on summer vacation from school. The big kids have an art camp this week, so I’m hopeful that I will accomplish some things!

I am reading I Cheerfully Refuse by Leif Enger, and I just finished Man’s Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl and Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury (for the first time since high school). I am doing something I made up called “Science Fiction Summer” in which I read a bunch of science fiction, including as many short stories I can fit in. It’s going really well and I’ll have more information about it in the near future.

I am very excited about a new series of paintings that I’ll be working on very soon, hopefully before the kids go back to school, and at the same time I am writing/working up a nonfiction book proposal. They are loosely related, so I don’t feel these two projects conflict with each other, but it is a lot.
