Erinware.com is operated by John and Margaret McManus. I am John and I am from County Longford. Margaret, my wife is English born of Irish parents.
I have been living in Essex for a number of years and gradually got interested in computers and the Internet. Being keenly interested in my homeland, I have been searching for ideas to enrich my association with Ireland. On the “net” I saw an opportunity to provide a facility to the Irish community at home and abroad to keep in touch with the current events and interact through modern technology.
In deciding the content of erinware.com I was influenced by my own circumstances, namely the fact that I live abroad and am out of contact with the Irish scene and the Irish media.
For a start we are going to provide a shop where fellow country men and women can choose products from Ireland and worldwide products also.
In future we will add a section called “The Crock Of Gold” where every one can add their own bits and pieces – sorry, we won’t pay for contributions but you can put your name on if you want.
We will monitor the site regularly to ensure that the content is legal, decent and inoffensive, but as content will largely come from others, we do not claim ownership of contents and cannot guarantee quality. Nevertheless we will try our best to keep this site free of offensive material and unbiased in all respects.
